Berry Day CampsSome lucky Logansport Elementary students were invited to attend a “Berry” special fun day camp during the last week of July! The camp was FREE, sponsored by the Cass County Community Foundation and staffed by Logansport Community School elementary teachers.
Four super fun days were hosted, each with a planned reading and math learning tucked into a fun activity plus snacks, and much more! The campers enjoyed a different theme each day. Monday July 27th focused on colors and students tie-dyed their own t-shirts. Tuesday July 28th was a day of bubbles with campers making bubble mix and studying how they form. On Wednesday July 29 students read Grandmas Dream Catchers and then made their own. The last day of camp on Thursday July 30th everyone enjoyed a presentation on how ice cream is made and then shook their own baggie of mix to make a delicious treat! The camp was offered at four park locations in Logansport and may be offered again in 2021.
